I'm a senior communications and creative operations leader at American Equity, a leading annuity provider, where I shape enterprise messaging and multimedia strategy. Before that, I spent 13 years as a photojournalist and producer across six television markets, which is a fancy way of saying I've been telling stories under deadline pressure for my entire adult life.

In 2025, I founded SageBrain, LLC, a technology company built around the simple idea that thoughtful software can make life a little clearer for people who think differently. The flagship product, SAGE, started as something I am building for my son, Graham, with a goal of it becoming something bigger.

itsKris is the creative services division of SageBrain, where the video work, the coded products, and the values-driven collaborations live. The video work is an extension of everything I've spent my career doing. The coded products are something else entirely. Small, intentional builds that challenge and drive me to learn something new every time. Everything here exists for the same reason SageBrain does: because I believe the best work comes from building things that actually matter to real people. That takes intention. And intention takes time. I'm okay with that.
